??? Happy Father's Day ???
Mark Smith
"If any man come to me, and hate
not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
(Jesus the “Prince of
Peace” Christ, Luke 14:26, KJV)
The above verse is
quite an embarrassment to the Christian followers of Jesus, the supposed son of
"the God of love." How can all the hype about "Family Values" and happy
Christian homes be reconciled with this awful, terrible, mean-spirited statement
vomited as it were from the pits of hell??? It can't be!!! But does that slow
down the Christians???? Hell no! It only makes them work that much harder:
Quick! Send in the
Damage Control Teams, get the "spin doctors" working over-time! We’ve got to
save the savior once again from his own big mouth! Get the crowbar! Help pry the
holy foot from out of yond holy mouth!
And let the excuses begin, let them roll forth like golden honey!!!
"Well, uhhh, yeah, that's what Jesus appears to have said, but that’s not what
he really meant."
How many times have you
heard that one? Jesus sticks his holy foot in his mouth, and the
Christian you’re talking to tells you that what you just read actually doesn't
exist- does he think you're as mental as he is??? What Jesus actually said
is obvious to anyone who can read, but this Christian putz is now going to tell
you what Jesus really meant?
Christian: what part of "hate your father" don't you understand???
False Translations to The Rescue
Of course, most of the modern "translations" have
managed to cover up this Watergate of hatred, in order to cover their Lord’s
ass. They have tried to sugar coat the word "hate" (in this verse only, mind
you) into meaning not actually hating someone (like the verse clearly commands),
but only to "love them less than" someone else.
ATTENTION! ATTENTION!
From now on, the word
will no longer mean "hate,"
but rather will mean "love less than"
in all verses that embarrass the Christians.
Well gee, that is
really convenient how these
dishonest theologians can just willy-nilly instantly muck up the definition of
words when it suits their whims. It’s nice they feel they have the right to
redefine words to however it suits them at the time.
However, we can go to a
Greek dictionary, containing the original language the New Testament was written
in. There we read about this word the Christians have tried to mutate:
Misco: to hate,
pursue with hatred, detest. (Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon, p. 415)
This exact same word
Misco, can also be found in other
Bible verses. It is obvious from a sample reading of these texts that hate still
means the exact opposite of love, and not just a lesser degree of love.

If a man say, I love God, and
hateth (misco) his brother, he is a liar. (1Jn 4:20)
|
The last verse quoted,
"If a man say, I love God, and
hateth (misco) his brother, he is a liar" really shows the
lengths of absurdity theologians will go to, to white-wash Jesus’ reputation. It
is obvious that their pet definition of hate meaning “a lesser degree of love”
suffers a total breakdown here. In this verse, if hate means “a lesser
degree of love” then all Christians are liars, as all Christians admit to loving
their brethren with “a lessor degree of love” than they do their Biblegod.
Try substituting the
Christian “definition” for hate, in the place of hate in these verses. It is
obviously a bad fit. Christians should face the facts:
Jesus said to hate one’s family- so deal with it. But don’t let any
lying, deceitful snake of a theo-ill-logian, in person or on paper, sneak Jesus
out of this one. Hate means hate, regardless of how many theologians say
otherwise!!! Hate is the OPPOSITE of love, not a "lesser degree" of love.
Therefore, when Jesus tells his followers to
hate
their families, they shouldn’t argue with their god. They should go, and be a
good Christian family, and hate all their relatives! And they should remember
that, unless they do so, they "cannot
be his disciple." Amen!
